Microsoft and Other OEMs have introduced new CoPilot+ PCs touted as the fastest and smartest Windows PCs ever built

Windows CoPilot+ Laptops

  • Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus (processors) are powering the launch of a latest segment of AI laptop devices delivering Microsoft Copilot+ PC experiences.

  • PCs with Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus can deliver, multiple days of battery life, unequalled performance and efficiency for improved productivity and creativity with unique AI experiences powered by the world’s fastest NPU for laptops at 45 TOPS and leading performance per watt.

  • The first wave of over 20 Copilot+ PCs powered by Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus were announced on May 20, 2024 from leading global OEMs including Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and Samsung. The laptops are available for preorder and can be bought from major retailers starting June 18.

On May 20 2024, Microsoft introduced Copilot+ Windows Pcs which are being touted as the fastest and most intelligent Windows PCs ever built. These PCs are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus, which are the only devices capable of running CoPilot+.

The CoPilot+ PCs are capable of performing tasks that any other Windows Pc has not been capable of. These PCs are capable of an incredible 40+ TOPS (trillion operations per second), have an all–day battery life and access to the most advanced AI models. Some of the leading features of CoPilot+ PCs include Recall, CoCreator and Live Captions.

Recall allows you to remember and find anything you have seen on your Pc, while CoCreator helps create and refine AI images in near real time. Live captions is capable of translating audio from more than 40 languages into English.

Microsoft and its OEM partners including Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung, are introducing a set of thin and lightweight CopIlot+ enabled PCs.

The CoPilot+ PCs introduced on May 20, 2024 include the following:

Acer:

Acer has unveiled the new Swift 14 AI, which offers strong AI capabilities to perform everyday computing tasks. Swift 14 AI combines the powerful Snapdragon X Series platforms, Copilot+ capabilities in Windows 11, and solutions such as Acer PurifiedView 2.0 and Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0, to improve productivity and creativity. Swift 14 AI offers an option with a 2.5K touchscreen display and has an outstanding CoPilot+ exclusive design as well as an AI logo on the cover and an activity indicator on the touchpad.

ASUS:

Asus has released ASUS Vivobook S 15 powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus, which has the capability to deliver never before seen AI power and efficiency. The device has integrated 45 NPU TOPS and an unmatched 45W TDP, supported by ASUS IceCool Thermal technology, which will allow users to enjoy superfast on device AI processing that enable CoPilot+ next gen AI features. With the ASUS Vivobook S 15, users get 18 hours of uninterrupted battery life, 15.6-inch 3K 120 Hz OLED display. All of this packed in a slim body and a full set of I/O ports, making it a good mobile companion.

DELL:

Dell offers five new laptops that are powered by qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus. These PCs include XPS 13, Inspiron 14 Plus, Inspiron 14, Latitude 7455 and Latitude 5455. They have got exceptional speed and AI performance as well as excellent battery life for efficiency and increased creativity.

HP:

HP has also released two next gen AI PCs designed and engineered around the Snapdragon X Elite processor and its dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), which is capable of 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS), to run language models and generative AI locally on the machine. HP’s OmniBook X AI PC and HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC pack a lot of punch in an ultra thin body. Apart from 16 hours of battery life and rapid charging, they also offer AI optimizations for higher productivity. Commercial customers can have access to additional features with the HP EliteBook Ultra. These features include Wolf Pro Security Next Gen Antivirus (NGAV) for protecting the PC down to the firmware level with hardware security features that shield user credentials and other critical data, Microsoft Secured-Core PC designation, and a three-year warranty.

Lenovo:

Lenovo has introduced two AI Pcs powered by Snapdragon X Elite - Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x and Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6. The two laptops offer top PC performance per watt and fast NPU-based AI processing up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). Users can also have access to LLM capabilities offline Windows 11 and Copilot+.

Samsung: Samsung has introduced Galaxy Book 4 Edge with integrated cutting-edge hybrid AI technologies. This laptop is a part of the most hyperconnected Galaxy AI Ecosystem and available in 14-inch and 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display sizes. It has intuitive capabilities and simple language prompts to help users overcome language barriers and increase their productivity. The device also includes Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search with Google, Live Translate and Chat Assist.

Microsoft:

Micorosft’s latest CoPilot+ Surface laptop is the most intelligent Surface laptop ever. Apart from an ultra long battery life, the laptop offers unique and powerful AI experiences powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors.
